Angel Horses’ mission is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment that enhances the lives of special needs children, youth and adults through spending time with our animals and volunteers.

Angel Horses is a unique human service organization located in Billings, Montana.

Our mission is to provide positive physical and emotional stimulus to the Senior community, especially those afflicted with Alzheimer’s, at-risk youth, special needs children and individuals and families affected by cancer, through the use of rescued animals such as horses, donkeys, dogs and cats in a therapeutic environment.

Appointment Required:

Sessions are private, whether an individual or a group, and by appointment only.  Therapeutic services are offered at no charge.   Fees, when charged, are based on the occasion, the needs and number of people participating (such as family reunions/gatherings and birthday parties).

Opportunities offered include:

  • spending time with our animals such as holding a cat, petting a dog, brushing horses.
  • basic horsemanship skills, and/or horse riding opportunities can be scheduled and involve a lead around handler and sidewalker/assistant (based on participant’s ability).

Through a variety of activities, Angel Horses provides an atmosphere and experience that fosters and promotes trust, love, responsibility, builds self worth and self esteem while having FUN!!
